Elizabeth Anne Porter
My life (and consequently, most information about me) is very boring. So, instead of boring you with the details of my life, I've transferred my webpage Q&A to this space. Enjoy! Q. How are you inspired? A. Honestly? They (the characters) are in my head and have always been there. They drive me crazy until I push back by writing it down. Then (sometimes) they leave me alone for a while. Some are more adamant than others. Some sit quietly in the background and wait patiently for my attention. Q. Are you crazy? A. I've been called worse. All of her books are listed below.

Amanda V. Shane
Amanda is a Colorado native and fully admits to being a library dork growing up. To this day, she loves the smell of book paper on an almost fetish level (okay, maybe not, but that gives you a peek into the dark and twisted mind of this author). One of her first book romances came at the age of nine when, in a far back aisle, she found the story of King Arthur and was entranced by the blood purple canvas cover with gold leafing (she likes shiny things.) Since then, she’s been hooked on stories with magic, mythical beings, daring heroes, and, of course, desperate romance. She started writing at a very young age, but somewhere along the line, she left the creation of tales on the page for those on the stage and enjoyed a short career as a professional ballet dancer and an even longer one as a dance instructor and youth company director/choreographer. Nowadays, she is happy to be bringing fantasy and romance together in the written form again and has had a wonderful time writing about some of the more obscure characters from the world’s most renowned story ballets such as The Nutcracker and Swan Lake. You can read these timeless romances in her Enchanted Lands novels. She writes paranormal and fantasy romance from her home where she lives with her family and a Basset hound that she routinely has to fight for the “soft” end of the couch to set up with her laptop. She likes chocolate, wine, coffee, and kids, in no particular order. Visit Amanda on her website at www.amandavshane.com and join her mailing list for book news, upcoming events, and other fun! Receive Pearl of the Moon in return. All of her books are listed below.

Ivan Scott has lived in Atlanta for over 30 years. He is married to a Genuine Ginger, so having a redhead protagonist is a must. He lives with his beautifully saucy wife, two troublemaking kids, and a Rat Terrier named Beesley in the Atlanta suburb of Sandy Springs. He is a die-hard Detroit Lions fan (Yes, one of the few remaining), and like Billy from Redhead in a Blue Convertible, he has a huge collection of the three B's: Bourbon, Bow-ties, and of course, Books! He has Dyslexia, but instead of looking at it as a challenge, he sees it as an advantage since it helps with creativity and helps to look at writing a story in many different ways. He hopes his example will help others with challenges follow their passion and make their dreams a reality.

Sophia Sinclair
Sophia Sinclair grew up in a town so small (pop. 170!) that the little town of Fairview where this series is set seems like the big city to her. For many years, she was the editor of a small town's daily newspaper, so she understands the rhythms of small-town life. When she started writing romances, she decided to set them all in a small town called Fairview. If you're from a small town, you'll feel like you've been there. If you're from a larger city, don't be surprised if you start yearning for small-town life. It's often said that in a small town, everybody knows everyone else's business, but the truth is, there are still a lot of secrets in small towns! She is married to a European man, has two grown children, and two lovely grandbabies she spoils to death. There's a little bit of Sophia in every one of her books. Molly is a librarian who wears plain dark dresses and looks very conservative but often wears racy underwear under that plain black dress. Sophia dresses the same. Lori likes to have a good time and always has lots of boyfriends before meeting the love of her life. Sophia will take the Fifth on that one. Catarina has a German poem on her bedroom wall; Sophia has the first two lines of that same poem tattooed on her upper thigh, in German. (It's Rilke, and the first two lines translate to: "You see, I want a lot. Perhaps I want everything." As for Julie in Perfect Fit, Sophia is mad about all aspects of pregnancy, breastfeeding, childbirth, and babies. She attended many of her friend's births, taught breastfeeding to WIC moms as a volunteer, started a business that handled pumps, bras, slings, etc., and gave very serious thought to working as a lactation consultant, doula or midwife once the newspaper industry died. Instead, she started writing these romance novels, and she very, very much hopes you'll enjoy them. She also writes for Curvicality.com, an online women's lifestyle magazine aimed at plus-size women. That's why Julie in Perfect Fit is plus-sized. She wanted to show that love is for everyone; not just the thinner ladies.

Beth Linton
Beth Linton is the author of The Guardians’ Trust series – fantasy paranormal romance novels that feature passion, adventure, and shapeshifters. She wrote her first novel aged eight on her mother’s old typewriter. The (very badly written) novel is now lost in an attic but the dream of being a writer and having a book cover remained. As the years passed she devoured books hungrily. With the everyday demands of motherhood, work and daily life, she discovered the pleasure a good romance can bring… and, even better, the escape and passion a great fantasy paranormal romance offers – and so turned her hand to writing them. Beth Linton lives in North Wales, UK. Beth is often found with her laptop on her lap absorbed with her characters as her son happily plays Lego, her jungle of houseplants grows and wild birds visit her bird feeders as her husband weeds the vegetable patch. Beth was recently featured in the University of Chester’s Author’s Corner, 2020. Beth Linton and The Guardians’ Trust series has been featured by Paranormal Tendencies, That’s What I’m Talking About, But First Let’s Read, N. N. Lights Book Heaven, Long and Short Reviews and Uncaged Magazine.

Linda Rettstatt
Linda Rettstatt began her writing career at the tender age of 18 while working as a classified ad clerk for her hometown newspaper. She covered the local community theater stories no one else wanted to cover, and she did so with enthusiasm, insisting upon a by line. Rettstatt’s creative nature steered her into a career as a semi-professional folk musician for a number of years. Finally, in 2002, she sat at a computer determined to find out if she could write a novel. That novel and three more were contracted by a small press. She moved from small press publishing to self-publishing in 2014 and has forty+ novels and novellas and several short stories in her bibliography. Six of her novels were finalists for the prestigious EPIC eBook Award, and two novels, Love, Sam and Ladies in Waiting, won the award in 2012 and 2016 respectively. In April of 2021, Linda retired from her social work position in NW Mississippi and relocated back to her home state of Pennsylvania where she continues to write and to offer services as an editor and writing consultant.

Morgan Gauthier
Storytelling is in Morgan Gauthier’s blood; She can’t seem to turn her brain off at night and some of her best ideas have come to her in the shower. Born to two book-loving parents, Morgan was raised on a healthy diet of The Lord of the Rings, Harry Potter, Nancy Drew, and any fantasy book she could get her hands on. She started writing her own stories at eleven years old and hasn’t looked back. Wolves of Adalore was her first self-published YA Fantasy title and since then, she has published a Contemporary Romance (Aloha, Seattle) with the second YA Fantasy installment in the Mark of the Hunter Trilogy (The Red Maiden) coming in April of 2022. Morgan Gauthier lives in East Tennessee with her husband and best friend, Brad, with their three children, Remi, Archer, and Roux (who are 4 years old and younger!). If five people wreaking havoc in the same house wasn’t enough, Morgan also has three dogs, Potter, Skye, and Bubba, and one grumpy bird named Titus. If Morgan isn’t writing or reading, she can be found binge-watching Netflix shows, attempting to cook like Gordon Ramsay (not even close to his level), and practicing archery.

Rhonda Brewer
A Little About Me Dreams can come true First of all, I'm a wife and mother. I'm also a grandmother. That alone would fulfill any woman's life. To be honest it does. But..... I'm also a writer. Someone who loves to tell stories of love, suspense, heartache, and of course happily ever after. For most of my life, I've written those stories for myself. A type of therapy, I suppose. I love the characters I create. They become part of who I am because there's part of me in them. So.... Now that you know this about me. I hope when you read my books, you fall in love with them. **Some of these are for mature women due to the contents of books.

Melina Druga
Melina Druga
Rumor has it that Melina Druga came out of her mother’s womb with a pen in her hand. While we can neither confirm or deny this, you could say she was destined to become a writer. Melina was so young when she began writing that she can’t remember exactly when the urge began. She does remember, however, her first novel – an historical fiction story about two sisters living in an Ohio canal town in the 1840s – that she wrote at age 10. Music keeps Melina sane, and it has gotten to the point that she cannot write without it. It keeps her awake, alert, motivated and productive. Music has even inspired her fiction. And not just The Rock Star’s Wife series. The My Chemical Romance song “Mama” was the inspiration for her historical fiction novel Angel of Mercy. Melina lives in the Midwest with her husband, daughter, black cat, books and CD collection.

I am a primary school teacher by day and single parent to a beautiful little girl the rest of the time. Writing is an enjoyable hobby of mine when I am not planning lessons or watching my beloved Carlisle United (something else that has been denied us for much of this last 18 months in these strange time). I love to write and take myself to all sorts of weird and wonderful places. I have recently finished my second and third novels, Once Upon A Time There Was A Man and With Every Breath after releasing me 'Conscience' a few years ago. I have written a series of children's books (www.beyondthehill.co.uk), plays, scripts, poems and educational resources for schools. I am self-published through Amazon and am not represented by anyone as yet but I hope it is only a matter of time before publishers and agencies beat a path to my door. I would very much like to retire early. :-)

I am a storyteller-turned-writer. For the last few years, I have been writing Happily Ever After At A Price, about Cowboys in shining armor and knights with scuffed boots. Thanks to the Chicago weather I get a lot of time to write, while cooped up with my daughters and husband. Now if someone can give me some advice on how to write while being pestered by a big chocolate lab, I would appreciate it.

S.A. Crow
S. A. Crow is an LGBTQ+ Author that lives in the Dallas / Fort Worth area of Texas with her two lovely roommates and two very odd dogs. She has always written for fun since she was a child. Having a hard childhood would help her make up imaginary worlds in her head to escape. In her 20's, she sat down and wrote a book. Admittedly, it wasn't very good as she had no idea about the craft of writing a novel. However, she did it anyway. Sadly, she lost the manuscript, but the story lives in her memory. As a former owner and editor of two internet magazines, she has some writing experience. In the mid-2000s, she was a member of the Fort Worth Haiku Society and was honored to be the President of the Society for a time. Her poetry was published in a compilation and in the Society publications. In November 2020, she signed up for NaNoWriMo and rewrote the story from her 20's. Having so many more skills now as an author than she did in her 20s, she was extremely glad she could add more flare to the story. Currently, she is a home health care worker, poet, writer, and independent novelist. When she isn't writing, she's reading a good book. In her viewpoint, age is just a level of experience to play to the end. By sharing her work and journey with you, she hopes we all can become better readers and authors together. Let's level up! The second book in her Fire Contemporary Suspense Romance Series will be out in March of 2022. If you would, please sign up for her Newsletter, Social Media sites, and check out her blog posts. They don't cost a thing, but they mean the world to an aspiring author.

Clare Bentley
Clare Bentley is a married mother of a son and a daughter, who are now adults. She was raised by a single mother and didn’t care to know her abusive biological father, instead considering her stepfather to be her dad. Playtime for her growing up was filled with creating scenarios to act out and making up dance routines to her favourite songs of the late 80s to early 90s. She discovered a love of writing in secondary school English, which was the only lesson she cared to attend, and the only GCSE’s she actually got a decent grade in. She never really had a passion for anything other than being a mother until she was one, and that’s when she decided to try her hand at writing. It started with fan fiction, about Backstreet Boys, then *NSYNC and – more recently – the TV show, Supernatural. She loved it and met some incredible friends that encouraged her to use her skills to tell her own stories, with characters she created from scratch. And that led her into the world of self-publishing.

Her travels between the three continents have strengthened her love for the sea and the outdoors. It’s no surprise that Misty Dreams is set on a small tropical island. When not writing or absorbed in the latest gripping page-turner, she loves to cook and enjoys long nature walks.

Devin Sloane
Known for writing real, raw, and deeply emotional stories, Devin prefers mature characters who know what they want and aren’t afraid to go get it. Devin's big-hearted heroes melt hearts, disintegrate panties, and know exactly how to love their women. Devin's relatable heroines could be your neighbor, your sister, or your best friend, and after reading their stories, you'll wish they were. You might even recognize yourself. Open about the fact that she suffers from mental health issues, Devin doesn’t shy away from tackling tough topics in her Bridgewater and Milltown Series, including those not often seen in contemporary romance. Devin believes seeing fictional representations of ourselves persevering and finding healing is strong stuff and she delivers. As in the real world, there are no easy answers, but her HEAs make a heart happy. At home, Devin is outnumbered by one husband, four kids, a dog, a cat, and plumbing issues that never quit. You can most often find her curled up on her front porch, earbuds in, music cranked, nose stuck in a book…hiding from her favorite people in the world who require far too many meals, and her husband, who is without a doubt the hero in her very own love story.

Azalea Hudson
Azalea lives with a bunch of aliens, aka cats. Coffee is love in a mug. Cursing and Sarcasm is her second language. Books are her way of escaping reality. She's an avid reader of all genres, but a Happily Ever After is a must. When her imaginary friends become loud in her mind, Azalea sits down and gives them voices, allowing them to guide her as she writes their stories. Her feline companions sometimes help with her writing and exchanging ideas; her cats also have been cast as characters in her books as well, making it fun to write them. Azalea teaches in primary school, tends to her little tigers at home, goes for walks in nature, and spends time with good friends, celebrating life.

S.G. Blaise
S.G. was born in a faraway land of castles, monarchies and fallen dictatorships, aka Hungary. Hollywood movies were forbidden under Soviet oppression during her childhood, but her dad smuggled them in anyway, risking his life so that his children could experience the magic and hope inherent in those stories. She watched rebellions unfold in real time. Journeyed across the Atlantic Ocean for love. She ended up in sunny California, where she is living her dream — writing stories and annoying family members.

Miya Malai
I used to be a Kindergarten teacher until I realized my love for teaching was overshadowed by my love for NA romance… when I'm not writing, or being a stay-at-home mom of three kids during the day (which is a full-time job), I'm up late re-watching my favorite Bollywood movies, or re-reading my favorite smutty Regency novels.

Kelly Swan Taylor
Kelly Swan Taylor is the author of the popular young adult novel The Winning Ingredient and the sleuthy middle grade mystery series The Wright Detective. When she’s not concocting unique recipes in her kitchen or hovering over her keyboard, this attorney and former laboratory scientist spends her time as a competitive runner. With experience racing from sun-drenched Hawaii to frigid Iceland, her first publishing credit was in Simon & Schuster’s best-selling book series, Chicken Soup for the Soul, Running for Good, highlighting the historic 2013 and 2014 Boston Marathons. Growing up immersed in beloved “Teen” novels, Kelly now crafts her own sweet stories that bridge the gap between middle grade and young adult fiction that is so often forgotten but so sorely needed in the market today. In fact, she is so passionate about bridging this gap that she founded the imprint Link Press, dedicated to bringing these stories back to young readers. As a believer that there is magic in the everyday, she has a soft spot for the kind and sincere yet flawed character, who tries to do the right thing, stumbles along the way, but eventually becomes a hero in everyday life. Kelly resides in Providence, Rhode Island with her architect husband, Jonathan, and her spirit animal and trusted kitty, Otto. Her new young adult ice hockey mystery/thriller Frozen in Time releases in early fall 2023.

Penny Hughes
Hi everyone, My name is Penny, I'm 36 years old, 16/02/85 I am a single mother of two boys ages 6 and 16. I am a new author, I found my passion for writing fiction during the first lockdown in the UK. I have always loved putting pen to paper but I didn't know what I wanted to do. But when I read a wolf shifter book on a free app it inspired me, because I also knew that I could write a better book. Since that day I've written my first book and have many more books planned and in different genres.

Juniper King
Juniper King has enjoyed writing since the days of hastily scribbling down fan fiction in high school biology class. But her official writing career began while she was working as an English teacher in Japan. After a year of speaking and writing in a confusing mixture of English and Japanese, she was worried her own English skills would start to deteriorate. What better way to practice than to write a novel? Juniper King lives in Ontario, Canada with her boyfriend, two fur children, Tsukimi and Mochi, and bearded dragon, Finn. When not writing, King enjoys doing puzzles with a nice cup of tea, playing video games, spending time with her bunnies, and generally anything else that can distract from the horrors of adult responsibilities. Scarlet Tempest is her debut novel.

S.A. Gonsalves
S.A. Gonsalves is a Canadian author from Ontario. While The Blood Princess is her debut novel, it is not the only book she has planned. She can’t wait to bring more of the world of Vartugaul to you along with tons of other stories that bang around in her head just waiting to get out. In her spare time if she isn’t writing (which doesn’t happen often with a toddler at home), she tries to junk journal, paint, design, catch up on her ever-growing TBR list, anime list and game list. While also trying to balance mom life and fitting in dates with her husband when they aren’t just sleeping instead or being potatoes on the couch and re-watching Naruto.

AJ Ashton
A little more about me, born in the early '70s, an only child and raised in Derbyshire, UK. Was the quiet geeky shy girl at school. Loved anything to do with dinosaurs, sci-fi and fantasy. At seven, a strong princess being rescued by a notorious smuggler in a galaxy far, far away inspired my creativeness to write. From drawing to writing, I let my imagination fly. Yet my primary passion has been writing stories and I have a box in the attic full of ones finished and unfinished. For a while, I only wrote sci-fi but found myself drawn to fantasy. My books are full of werewolves, vampires, witches, dwarfs, and elves. As well as sword play and a dabble of romance with strong female characters and cinnamon roll heroes. My books have inspired a complete fantasy world called Zentos. I hope you find it as wondrous as I do.
