Linda Rettstatt
Linda Rettstatt began her writing career at the tender age of 18 while working as a classified ad clerk for her hometown newspaper. She covered the local community theater stories no one else wanted to cover, and she did so with enthusiasm, insisting upon a by line. Rettstatt’s creative nature steered her into a career as a semi-professional folk musician for a number of years. Finally, in 2002, she sat at a computer determined to find out if she could write a novel. That novel and three more were contracted by a small press. She moved from small press publishing to self-publishing in 2014 and has forty+ novels and novellas and several short stories in her bibliography. Six of her novels were finalists for the prestigious EPIC eBook Award, and two novels, Love, Sam and Ladies in Waiting, won the award in 2012 and 2016 respectively. In April of 2021, Linda retired from her social work position in NW Mississippi and relocated back to her home state of Pennsylvania where she continues to write and to offer services as an editor and writing consultant.

I am a primary school teacher by day and single parent to a beautiful little girl the rest of the time. Writing is an enjoyable hobby of mine when I am not planning lessons or watching my beloved Carlisle United (something else that has been denied us for much of this last 18 months in these strange time). I love to write and take myself to all sorts of weird and wonderful places. I have recently finished my second and third novels, Once Upon A Time There Was A Man and With Every Breath after releasing me 'Conscience' a few years ago. I have written a series of children's books (www.beyondthehill.co.uk), plays, scripts, poems and educational resources for schools. I am self-published through Amazon and am not represented by anyone as yet but I hope it is only a matter of time before publishers and agencies beat a path to my door. I would very much like to retire early. :-)

T.A. Rosewood
T.A. Rosewood, wrote her first short story when she was just thirteen years old in a school textbook, which was called, 'Looks Aren’t Everything'. During her GCSE English exam, she was supposed to write a two-page short story; but once she’d started writing, she couldn’t stop, ending up with a thirty-page story, failing the exam. In her twenties, she began writing poetry and to date, has had five of them published in various poetry publications, but, as her family and life grew busy, she found she had to stop writing. Almost two decades later though, she was inspired to write again, when she met bestselling author Jojo Moyes at the open evening of Harts Books store in Saffron Walden, Essex. A month into starting the book, her mother was diagnosed with the same disease as the main character in Reasonable Lies so again, she halted all her writing to concentrate on helping her mother through her ordeal. Thankfully, her mother recovered and told her she had to continue with the book and the rest is history as they say! T.A. Rosewood lives in North Essex with her husband, two children, and two dogs.

Clare Bentley
Clare Bentley is a married mother of a son and a daughter, who are now adults. She was raised by a single mother and didn’t care to know her abusive biological father, instead considering her stepfather to be her dad. Playtime for her growing up was filled with creating scenarios to act out and making up dance routines to her favourite songs of the late 80s to early 90s. She discovered a love of writing in secondary school English, which was the only lesson she cared to attend, and the only GCSE’s she actually got a decent grade in. She never really had a passion for anything other than being a mother until she was one, and that’s when she decided to try her hand at writing. It started with fan fiction, about Backstreet Boys, then *NSYNC and – more recently – the TV show, Supernatural. She loved it and met some incredible friends that encouraged her to use her skills to tell her own stories, with characters she created from scratch. And that led her into the world of self-publishing.

Anne Hamilton Fowler
Anne Fowler, only child of Audrey and Stewart Hamilton, was raised in Toronto where she attended Leaside High School and Toronto Western Hospital School of Nursing. In 1962 American Airlines beckoned her to Dallas, Texas and life in the sky as a flight attendant. Twice divorced, Anne first married a young minister from Louisiana and then long-time best friend Dr. Bob Fowler of Toronto. They raised a daughter and son who later produced a grandson and granddaughter. In 2001, Anne retired, closed her company, Hamilton Enterprises, and left behind a thirty year career in Human Resources. She relocated to El Progreso, Honduras to volunteer at a clinic where care is provided for patients who lack the funds to be treated elsewhere. During this time, Anne developed the Visiting Doctor program for international ophthalmologists, started the Healthy Living Education project in local elementary schools, and helped with a variety of clinic and community activities. In 2006, after purchasing property in the small north coast village of El Porvenir, she built Hamilton Benest House, a home providing accommodation for visiting dentists, doctors, teachers, and other volunteers. Her major program in 2021 is Phase Two of the Healthy Living Program. This annual dental program, conducted by two Canadian dental teams, provides dental care for over 1,000 elementary school students in the area. Anne’s programs continue to thrive and she has continued to develop community initiatives designed to improve the lives of Hondurans. Anne divides her year between El Porvenir and her Haliburton cottage north of Toronto.
